2011 Was For My Dad, 2019 is For Me

In 2011 I walked 26.2 miles in under 7 hours in honor of my Dad who I lost to liver cancer 5 months before the walk.  This year I'm walking for me.

In October of 2018 I was diagnosed with malignant lentiga melanoma.  2 surgeries and 22 stitches later I'm cancer-free and incredibly grateful. I also know just how lucky I am.

Everyone knows someone or has a similar story. I'm walking the 26.2 miles in the 2019 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk to help in a very small way toward the goal of a world without cancer.

I know there are so many appeals and no shortage of important causes out there to support so thank you in advance for considering supporting me. If you're reading this and can't donate, please send good thoughts my way on September 22nd!

Thank you!

In 2018 there were 8,200 participants in the Jimmy Fund Walk.  Together they took a collective 200 million steps and raised $8.5 million to fight cancer. Click here to learn more about the 2019 walk.
